A high molecular weight, partially-hydrolyzed vinyl chlo
ride/vinyl acetate resin having a composition of approx
mately 90 percent vinyl chloride, 4 percent vinyl acetate
with a hydroxyl content of approximately 2.3 percent. Vinyl Resin VAGH can be dissolved in relatively
strong solvent/diluent combinations, such as 50 percen
ketone/50 percent aromatic hydrocarbon, to producer
solutions of 20 percent solids. VAGH can be used for a
wide range of coatings applications, including industria
maintenance and marine finishes, wood finishes, pape
coatings, metal decorative and container coatings, and
as a binder in magnetic tape.

Recommendation for Resin Dissolving Procedure:
Add weak solvent such as ethyl acetate or toluene into the blending tank first with agitation.
Slowly put terpolymer resin such as UMCH or UMOH into the above solvents with agitation.
Put strong solvents last, such as MEK or MIPK
If possible, heating and keeping temperature at 60-70 degree C, which will help the dissolving process, otherwise, takes longer time.
Resin concentration may vary with client's formulation
